Orthodontic Treatment Options
What makes our braces special?
Technology is at the heart of what we do at Gullotta Orthodontics and our LightForce braces are a game changer! These braces are digitally planned and 3D printed to match the exact shape of your teeth. This results in a customised one-to-one approach rather than a one-sized fits all bracket system. This high-tech braces treatment has been created to help Orthodontists deliver faster and more accurate treatment results. *coming to Gullotta Orthodontics early 2022
Metal Braces Treatment
Our Most Popular Treatment
Metal Braces are our most popular treatment option at Gullotta Orthodontics. Metal Braces such as Damon Braces have evolved significantly in recent years, and offer a very successful treatment result for children, teenagers, as well as adults.
Clear Braces Treatment
A less noticeable treatment option
Clear Braces offer a great treatment results, much like that of the original metal braces. However clear braces are designed to be translucent which means they are less noticeable on your teeth compared to a standard metal braces treatment.
Clear Aligners Treatment
The 'Invisible' Treatment option
Clear Aligners such as Invisalign have become an incredibly popular form of treatment. Clear Aligners offer many of the same great treatment results that you would expect from traditional metal braces. This treatment option is often preferred by people who are looking for a much less noticeable orthodontic treatment choice, of for those who need a treatment option which won’t interfere with their daily life.
Mouthguards
Protecting your smile during treatment
Mouthguards play an important role in protecting your teeth when playing sport during orthodontic treatment. Repairs to your treatment plan caused by blows during sport can be very costly, so we always recommend all patients receive a custom fitted mouthguard when undergoing treatment.
Clear Aligner F.A.Q.
Each treatment option presents its own unique benefits. During your initial consultation with Dr Nino Gullotta, he will make recommendations based off your individual orthodontic needs, as well as your personal preferences to create a treatment plan that is customised to you.
Appointments are scheduled according to each patient’s needs. Most patients will be seen every six to ten weeks.
Treatment times will vary but typically treatment takes 18 to 24 months.
Provided Dr Gullotta believes your preferred treatment method is best suited to achieve the best result, yes!
No, orthodontic treatment will not affect your day-to-day life. However, you will need to ensure you take care when eating particular foods, and playing sports to ensure you do not damage your braces or aligners.
