You may be eligible to claim benefits toward your orthodontic treatment. At Gullotta Orthodontics, we regularly help HBF members claim rebates toward LightForce braces and we process claims on the spot through our HICAPS machine. Whether it’s for you or your child, you’ll know your exact rebate and out-of-pocket cost before you agree to anything.
Yes, HBF extras cover may include benefits for orthodontic treatment such as braces and other specialist appliances. The amount you can claim depends on your level of cover, including any annual and lifetime limits.
Most HBF policies require you to serve a 12-month waiting period before you can claim orthodontic benefits.
To claim across multiple years, you’ll need to provide HBF with a treatment plan each year outlining the item codes, fees and duration. HBF will assess this and confirm how much you’re entitled to receive.
At Gullotta Orthodontics, we can help you prepare the right documentation and explain what to ask your fund before starting treatment. We don’t want you to feel in the dark, so any costs related to your treatment will be explained upfront.
If you have extras cover with HBF, we can process your claims on the spot using our HICAPS machine, so you receive your rebate before you leave.
